Here you will see an interesting story about the use of  limestone for a custom designed residence that is nestled at the base of a mountain where rivers meet in New Bern, North Carolina.  This waterfront beauty custom designed by Weber Design Group, Inc. will feature the unique masonry work of Tri-Stone, Inc. The picture below shows several rough limestone slabs.  These special slabs were once four very large limestone blocks measuring 9 feet in length by 5 feet in height and width.  Each individual limestone block has been given a weight and serial number from it’s hailing quarry so that no matter what is made from the stone, this special identification code will be carved into it.
