Gingerbread house designs??

1st Annual Holly Jolly Gingerbread Challenge ~ Naples, Florida

Design Studio by Raymond will hold the first-annual “Holly Jolly Gingerbread Challenge” from Monday, Dec. 8 through Saturday, Dec. 13.  The exciting contest will feature entries from local pastry chefs, including Christina Gray from A Spoonful of Sugar  and Kimberly Bechtel from Sweeties Custom Cakes .  Visitors to the Naples showroom will be able to see the homes on display and vote for their favorite gingerbread house, as well as place silent auction bids for the culinary creations as part of a fundraiser.  The final day of voting and the silent auction bids will take place on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., when the featured chefs will be performing holiday-themed cooking demonstrations in the Design Studio demo kitchen for guests to participate in.  Winners of the silent auction of each Gingerbread House and the “Fan Favorite” Gingerbread House will be announced LIVE at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 at Design Studio by Raymond.

Design Studio by Raymond is holding this contest in partnership with the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA) to raise funds for Toys & Joys for Boys N’ Girls.  Proceeds from the silent auction will help purchase toys for children in need this holiday season.  Local architecture and planning firm Weber Design Group provided the working drawings for three different house designs for each chef to follow.
