Custom Home in Marco Island by Weber Design Group

Construction on a new custom residence designed by architecture and planning firm Weber Design Group is now complete. The two-story home built by Larry Taylor Construction was designed specifically for the typical lot in Marco Island that’s unique because of the minimal depth compared to other communities. The residence features wide open waterfront views while offering tremendous curb appeal.
This formal living floor plan includes 3,276 square feet under air with four bedrooms, three full baths and one-half bath, wet bar, upstairs loft and office space. Outdoor features include a summer kitchen, covered lanai, custom pool and screened-in deck, and the two car garage offers a workspace with built-in cabinets and additional refrigerator. The transitional Mediterranean façade is complemented by a stucco finish, an arched entry and arched windows, and a barreled tile roof.
Through the main entry, the foyer flows into both the formal dining and formal living room. Delineated by a coffered ceiling, the dining room features two large picture windows with an arched transom light above while the living hosts sliding glass doors and a coffered ceiling with exposed beam detail. A wet bar is conveniently located nearby, accessible from both the kitchen and formal dining. Ample amounts of natural light are able to pour into these spaces.
A built-in bench seat beneath a large mitered glass window creates a casual breakfast area and a nice transition from the formal living areas to the more casual spaces. The spacious kitchen hosts a large center island that includes a double sink, dishwasher, compactor and ice maker along with additional space for bar stool seating. A walk-in pantry and volume ceilings complete this functional kitchen design.
The adjacent family room offers a high coffered ceiling with exposed beams and two sets of sliding glass doors that pocket for effortless indoor/outdoor living. A powder bath, office and guest room with en-suite bath and walk-in closet are also just off the family room.
The master bedroom is on the main level situated on the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms and also has slider access to the outdoor living. The master suite is generously proportioned with a spacious master bath that includes his and her vanities on opposite sides of the room, a laundry room, free-standing tub, large walk-in shower and plenty of natural light.
Up the stairs, a loft and full bath provide separation for two guestrooms. Each bedroom features sliding glass doors that open to a covered deck that overlooks the waterways beyond.
