New West Indies House Plan Designed for A Florida Golf Course Community

We recently completed a beautiful new house plan influenced by British West Indies architecture called The Caribbean Breeze. This new house plan is perfect for the golf course lot it was designed for in Estero, Florida.
This comfortable single story, family room floor plan provides 5,377 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, four full baths and two half baths, a study, formal living and dining areas, oversized family room and large island kitchen. Outdoor features include pool with spa and sun shelf, outdoor lounge area with summer kitchen and fireplace, built-in fire pit and a spacious five car garage with a circular motor court.
Through the main entry of this West Indies house plan it features vaulted ceilings and exposed rafters, the formal living room offers a two-tiered coffered ceiling with a stone faced fireplace and a palatial wall of glass separating the living room from the outdoor reflective pool spilling into a larger swimming pool with vanishing edge. The formal dining room has a built-in hutch with space for a buffet and next door, the handsome study features an octagonal trayed ceiling design and large double windows for an ample amount of natural light.
The large master suite comprises the majority of the right side of this house plan. Along with a morning bar, direct access to the covered lanai and oversized his and her walk-in closets, the master suite also features a small colonnade that separates the bedroom from the sitting area with three sides of glass and double French doors that leads outside to the patio and spa area. The luxurious master bath has his and her water closets with a bidet in hers, a dual walk-through shower with an all glass wall, dual vanities including a makeup vanity and a vaulted ceiling. From the shower, a glass door leads outside to a private garden area with a fountain feature and a trellis covered shower.
Back through the living room, a radial wet bar separates the formal from the casual living spaces. This bar, perfect for entertaining your dinner guests, has seating for up to six people and features spoked rafters surrounding a domed ceiling design with indirect lighting and a large glass chandelier for added opulence. The adjacent dinette provides optimal natural light with glass walls that extend from two feet above the finished floor up to ten feet high. The nearby kitchen is surrounded by plenty of cabinetry and has a large center island with double dish washers, trough sink and a rinse sink. The island can also sit up to five guests. Behind the subzero fridge is a pass-through butler’s pantry that opens into the central hallway for easy accessibility to the formal dining room.
From this central hallway, there is a powder bath, a mud area just off the garage with built-in bench seat and shelving, a spacious utility room with dump sink and the remaining three guest rooms; each having their own unique ceiling design and private full bath.
Directly across from the open kitchen is the large family room with 42 feet of sliding glass doors that pocket behind the entertainment center. A multi-tiered coffered ceiling with large beams ending into a light well of indirect lighting shows off the accented detail within this beautiful living space.
The outdoor living spaces of this house plan include a covered lanai with a coffered ceiling that flanks the family room on both sides, an outdoor summer kitchen with a fridge, sink, grill and separate ice maker and a central lounge area featuring an open air cupola that allows for the perfect cross breeze on a warm summer night. There is also a large infinity edge swiming pool with spa, sun shelf and a sunken fire pit with built-in sectional lounge seating.
This west indies house plan offers the space of a two story home with the convenience of a single story. This house plan not only works well for a golf course community lot but would be beautiful on any waterfront or intercoastal lot as well.
